What this model shows

Wires connect parts; switches open or close a path. Bulbs in series share one path. Parallel branches offer separate paths, but both still need their shared connection to the battery.

These are ideal batteries and bulbs. We model whether a complete path exists, not brightness, voltage, resistance, or battery depletion. Connection positions are fixed, so you cannot bypass a bulb or short the battery.

Your first circuit in 30 seconds

1. Read the goal. Which labeled bulbs should light?

2. Repair the path. Tap a wire button to connect or remove it. Tap a switch to close or open it. Buttons marked “fixed” explain the diagram and cannot be edited.

3. Test. A lit bulb has rays and the word “ON.” Follow the dashed blue path. If the goal is not met, use the explanation or a hint and try again.

Tab moves between controls; Enter or Space operates a button. There is no timer, and every level is available. Hint use counts as coaching; Show solution completes the puzzle with a worked explanation.
